Hello. My name is George Williams and it’s my pleasure to welcome you to “Vynlvibes”. This site was born out of my love for the music and pop culture of the 1970’s, roughly from the years between 1969 and 1981. These were my formative years musically speaking.

Recently, in observing conversations between young people, I’ve noticed more and more of them seemed to have more than a passing familiarity with the music that I grew up with. This music not only predates them, but in some cases, predates their parents! This was the impetus and inspiration for me to start this page. A place to highlight and showcase a beloved era with insight and panache.
