Diana Ross singer movie star icon legend
Of-course, Diana Rossstarted her journey as an internationally famous pop icon as a singer in the Motown group “The Supremes” in the 1960’s.
From there, she rose from a mere group member to the headliner of “Diana Ross and the Supremes”. This iteration of the group concluded with the poignant hit “Someday We’ll Be Together”.
She would go on to become a successful solo artist before embarking on a brief movie career in the 1970’s.
The 1980’s and 90’s brought more monster hits, both solo projects, collaborations and a Super Bowl halftime show in 1996. Along the way she gave us many memorable moments and is also credited with “discovering” a precocious young man from Gary Indiana named Michael Jackson.
