Paul McCartney and Wings, was a British rock band formed in 1971 in London by Paul McCartney, formerly of the Beatles, on vocals and bass, his wife Linda McCartney on keyboards, Denny Laine, formerly of the Moody Blues, on guitar and vocals, and Denny Seiwell on drums.
Although the band had numerous personnel changes during its twelve year run, the McCartneys and Laine remained constants throughout the band’s tenure.
Wings had a combined two dozen top 10 hits in the U.S. and U.K. including 7 songs that reached the number one position.
Here is a rehearsal performance from their 1973 album “Band on the Run”.
